Events and attractions

Guests are really spoilt for choice when deciding how to fill a stay in this area. Traditional fairs, closely linked to the world of agriculture, alternate in springtime: the San Giuseppe, the Scale (ladders), or the Casolara fair centred on cheeses. The historical re-enactments such as the multi-coloured S. Vigilio festival get everyone involved and put on ancient battles encircled by other events from times past as well as costumes, processions, competitions and ancient dishes. In the surrounding area there are many fêtes, dances, food and wine trails, grape festivals and local choir gatherings, but also cultural meetings such as the Madruzziane Festivals in Calavino or the Harmonic Resonance Festival in Valle dei Laghi. The wine exhibitions are not to be missed, starting with Trento’s in the middle of May where the best wine from Trentino goes on stage, or the others dedicated to specific wines such as Nosiola and Vino Santo (Castel Toblino) or Merlot in Aldeno.
